Meet Amy…
Amy is an artist and registered Landscape Architect with 30 years of experience. Her work celebrates the interface of nature, seasonality and artful creative expression.
She has been fortunate to have worked with Joni Janecki for 23 years as a firm Principal, as well as early years working with Topher Delaney and Andrea Cochran.
Her professional experience includes preparation of plans and planning documents for a range of large scale projects, including hospital and healing gardens, educational and campus master planning, libraries, city and town urban revitalization, place making and residential landscape design. She is also a dynamic and approachable public presenter.
Her work has extended to Yosemite National Park, consulting on wayfinding and exhibit design as well as long term planning for improved visitor experience.
Amy also works as an independent consultant developing technical illustrations and informational graphics for engineers, architects, educators and interpretive designers.
Amy’s daily practices include mastery of a range of art and craft mediums including drawing, painting, knitting, sewing, hand-lettering, and letter writing. You can follow her creative endeavors on Instagram @amywestdraws.
